SilverPoint Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-04-01
App name: SilverPoint (Wear OS + companion phone app)

Summary

SilverPoint is a scorekeeping app. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. The app stores match data locally on your watch (and optionally syncs it to your paired phone) so you can view scores and history.

Who is the data controller?

SilverPoint is published by Solinet Oy (“we”, “us”, “our”).

  • Company: Solinet Oy
  • Location: Helsinki, Finland
  • Business ID: FI10505475

What data we collect

None.
SilverPoint does not require accounts and does not intentionally collect or send user data to any developer-operated server.

What data the app stores on your devices

To provide the app’s core functionality, SilverPoint stores the following locally on your watch (and can sync to your paired phone for display):

  • Match content you enter: scores, match settings (sport, format, golden point), match history, and optional point statistics (e.g., winners/unforced errors).
  • App settings: preferences related to scoring and statistics prompts.
  • Debug/test artifacts (debug builds only): stress test run results that can be synced to the phone for viewing.

This data is stored on-device (e.g., using Android local storage). It is used only to run the app and show your history and statistics.

Data sharing

We do not share your data with third parties.

Third-party services and processing

SilverPoint uses the following platform components:

  • Google Play Services — Wearable Data Layer: used to sync score and history between your watch and your paired phone. This sync is between your devices and handled by Google Play Services; we do not receive this data.
  • Android system backup (optional): the app may be included in your device’s OS-level backup (if enabled on your device). Backup behavior is controlled by your device settings and operating system. We do not operate or access your backups.

SilverPoint does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services.

Permissions

SilverPoint requests only the permissions required for gameplay experience and watch/phone syncing (for example, haptics, wake behavior, and Wearable Data Layer communication). It does not request permissions for contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos/media, or advertising identifiers.

Data retention

Your data remains on your devices until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear the app’s storage.

Your choices and controls

  • Delete match history: you can delete match entries from the in-app history UI.
  • Clear app data: you can clear storage via your device’s system settings.
  • Uninstall: removing the app removes app data from the device (subject to OS behavior and any backups you have enabled).

Children’s privacy

SilverPoint is not collecting personal information from anyone, including children.

Security

Because SilverPoint does not transmit your match data outside of your phone, the primary security boundary is your device. We recommend keeping your watch/phone secured with a lock screen and keeping your OS up to date.

Changes to this policy

If we change how SilverPoint handles data, we will update this Privacy Policy and adjust the effective date above.
